Berry Abode was made over two weekends for Rainbow Jam 2019 with a small team of friends.
The theme of the jam was “Community” so we designed a small game where you invite people from the city to escape stressful lives and join you on a small jam-making commune.
Profits made from making jam enabled you to upgrade the house and increase the community’s capacity.
Features I was primarily responsible for include:
The story arc system, where characters would progress their own personal stories as they spent time in the community.
The city, a place the player could visit to invite new members back to the commune.
